The Improvement of Semiconductor Devices

Quasi-conductor are the detached class of matters. In the first time that unique class was found in the 1890's but more thoroughly it started to be researched just after the First World War in Europe and in Soviet Union. The first successful experiment was performed by the Russian scientists in 1923. They proved that semiconductors may be used to generate fluctuations. During several years diodes were ejected by tubes. The most considerable event in the history of semiconductor devices was the invention of the first transistor by Bell company in 1949. The intense research of the characteristics of semiconductors was begun at the same time.
Many scientists perform a huge amount of experiments simply to get more knowledge about such characteristic of semiconductors as stimulated emission. It led to the appearing of semiconductor laser system based on usage of p - n barriers and then on heterojunction.
